Step into the world of computer hacking
Through hacking one is able to access another computer system or network. There is no need of any kind of authorization or anything. Through such a process programs which are existing on the system can be modified in anyway the hacker wants for his benefit and to accomplish his/her goals. There are various forms of hackers present. Some retrieve passwords and useful information from computer systems while others hack credit card numbers. Some are even able to create a computer virus, which is a self duplicating code meant to harm your computer, and send it to millions of people worldwide through various means.
Just like with anything in the world, the art of hacking can be used in both a positive way and in a negative way. A common misconception amongst the majority is that hacking is only thought to be harmful and disruptive. In reality this is not at all the case. While the majority of hackers work hard to crack codes and break in systems with the wrong intention, there are those who work for the benefit of the organization or society as a whole. For example many companies and online businesses would hire such hackers in order to keep their security system updated and thus safeguarding all important data. Without hackers, we wouldn’t have Napster or any of the technology which has completely revolutionized practically everything, from the way we live our lives to the way business is conducted now a days.
On the other hand, this process has been misused by a lot of people over the years. Accessing private and useful information of any business, breaking in a secured system and messing with its functions, finding out bank details of a particular user and even identity theft are just some of the ways you can misuse the art. Hacking can be very destructive if used with the wrong intentions. Useful government information can be accessed exposing all the operations and data which can damage the foundations of a country. Computer related crimes have been taking places all over the world from creating self duplicating virus which are able to shut down the whole system or extracting passwords and bank details and stealing money from any bank account.
Now a days information is easily available. With just a click of a button you can get all the details regarding any topic. With search giants such as Google and information portals such as Wikipedia, you can have detailed insight regarding anything. This sudden outburst of information sharing has helped us in many ways since it has led to the collaboration of many people who have managed to build new innovations and inventions in the world of internet.
On the other hand, many people would agree that this extraordinary amount of information sharing by billions of people worldwide can have a negative effect as well. Just think about this matter for a moment. By searching online and reading various articles anybody can know how to get a yahoo password within just a matter of minutes.
yahoo password hacking programs to find their password and see what they have been doing online.People usually keep all important documents and private information in their e-mail accounts. Once anyone learned how to access that account there is no telling what they can do with it. People can easily hack into each others accounts and gain access to the private information, which if leaked could cause a lot of problems for that person. Because of this reason only, many companies are constantly struggling to better their services and provide better security systems for the users.
Hackers work in a number of ways. Many just build up infected websites from scratch or simply hack into an already existing website. What happens is that whenever a user accesses this particular website, his/her computer system automatically gets infected. Similarly whichever computer or device the computer system connects with, it also ends up getting infected and this process continues. Another way of spreading the virus is by e-mail services. There are many different types of virus present which are sent through e-mails and are meant to bring down the whole system. Through mass emailing, one single virus is sent to millions of users worldwide and it is spread only in a matter of minutes. This is one of the reasons why may e-mail services have improved their security systems and are able to detect the e-mails containing virus and spam so that the user doesn’t accidentally infect his/her system with the virus.
Internet is continuously changing with newer and newer technology becoming obsolete in a matter of months. Many argue that this change is for the better as it is only adding comfort to our lives. With the mobile technology merging with internet, you can do practically anything on your mobile phone that can be done on a computer. With just a press of a button you can pay your bills, buy anything online and can even send and receive emails. Everything can be done while on the road or traveling from one place to another, thus adding to our convenience. With internet making its way into a device that has all the personal data regarding you and your work, it is only a matter of time that your mobile devices would also be exposed to everything that comes along with it. The targets of tomorrow, as many argue, would be devices that you use in your everyday life. A simple virus or a malware can infect your mobile phone and it wouldn’t be able to do the primary function it was developed for, i.e. calling other people.
Everything brings with itself a set of advantages and disadvantages. With the way internet is completely revolutionizing the way we do our daily activity, loss of privacy and breach of information are the problems that were evident to begin with. This constant struggle between good and bad will continue for ages and it is only a matter of time that a solution would be developed to counter all such problems.
